Durah AlFodah has huge interest in architectural, engineering and construction solutions in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. We are seeking new construction innovations and technologies that provide our clients with predictable, reliable and collaborative services. As a part of exploring new markets, we are stretching our wings to Western Africa as well. Partnering with globally acclaimed consultants, we eye numerous projects in the coming years.
MINING
Mining is another key activity where Durah AlFodah has invested our interests in. Our areas of interest include both Precious and Non-precious metals and Diamonds. Our partnership with various known names in the mining industry and various African Governments enable us to explore Gold, Bauxite, Iron, Platinum, Lithium and Copper. Durah AlFodah believes there is significant potential for the discovery of substantial base metals and gold within the Western African Region and has identified a number of areas that show evidence of base and precious metals endowment which have had very little modern systematic exploration completed to date. A systematic, staged approach is being adopted to progress and test these targets through a gated process of reconnaissance, target development and mining.
COMMODITIES
Along with our interests in mining, Durah AlFodah has strong presence in commodity trading which includes but not limited to Gold, Bauxite, Alumina, Iron and Lithium. In Gold, we offer Natural, Unprocessed, Raw Gold (Nuggets, Dust, Flakes), Dore Bars, Gold Bullions etc. In Aluminum, we offer Bauxite, Alumina and Aluminum (in different formats requested by the customers). We are capable of offering bulk quantities of high-quality Iron and Lithium as well. We have strong supplier bases round the globe starting from Western Africa to Switzerland. Our strategic clients include state owned metal industries, Smelters, foundries, Aircraft and Automobile manufacturers and other heavy industries. We ensure high level of quality standards which has fetched us long standing supply contracts.
ENERGY
Durah AlFodah, with its world class principals on board offer renewable energy solutions which include Solar & Wind energy. FOOD INDUSTRY
Most of the Arab countries and many of the Western African countries heavily depend on imported grains. Food security is a big task for all these countries where availability and price are prone for huge fluctuations. Port facilities, non-dedicated customs services, in land transportation facilities, storage and milling facilities all needs major fine tuning to cater to the rising demand. Durah AlFodah eyes improving these factors which shall help various governments on their path to better Food security. Durah AlFodah has high interests in the grain and milling markets, especially in the Middle East and Western Africa. Wheat, Rice, Corn, Lentils are few of the products we have huge interests in.
LIVESTOCK
As a part of supporting local governments in the Middle East towards their goal for food security, Durah AlFodah commits themselves in the trade of Livestock. Our network of approved partners in the African regions are capable of meeting any of the stringent quality guidelines put up by various governments in the Middle East. On the other hand, we have partnerships with various capable stake holders to provide chilled meet of highest quality in the whole region. We are capable of providing. Goat, Sheep and Bovine stuff are the categories we concentrate for the time being. We have pipeline projects to import and bulk cattle in the Middle East market with necessary allocation of Slaughterhouses, Cutting & processing plants, storage &distribution networks etc.
HEALTHCARE
Despite the prevalence of malnutrition, poor hygiene, environmental and water supply contamination, and endemic communicable diseases in West Africa, health care systems have been designed to meet the needs of the urban elite class. The needs of women, children and men in the rural areas have been widely ignored. At Durah AlFodah, we believe that health care systems must fulfil the following conditions: 1) Universal access to services; 2) Affordable cost; 3) Finding solutions to the recognized health problems in the region such as diarrheal diseases and acute respiratory infections and 4) should reach rural poor. Affordable Health care facilities including testing laboratories are the need of the hour. Durah AlFodah have understandings with several Western African governments to improve the Healthcare sector of those countries and considering it as a humanitarian gesture we stay committed to continue our efforts.
HOUSING
At Durah AlFodah, we offer commercial and industrial construction services for a wide range of project types and markets. Affordable housing market has shown steady growth in the region in the past few years and the same is expected to grow further. Year on year, we are seeing Middle Eastern governments taking a greater interest on the subject of affordable housing and new policies are being introduced to stimulate low-income housing. Though there are issues that need to be addressed such as land supply, low-income community integration and liberalization of credit in order to help low-income buyers get a mortgage in order to buy property, these are all things that will come in time. Durah AlFodah along with our usual construction activities concentrate on housing projects of various kind in the Kingdom. We have future plans to extend these models to the Western Africa as well. Spade works for the same have already started in early 2021.
